Everything you need is at the accommodation. Supermarket just a 15 minute drive. And also a lot of nice things to visit, such as Truffle Hunting and visiting a vineyard. Just the real Umbria and Italy. It was a lovely stay.”

"It was a great and great stay at Alan and Lucia's. Check-in went smoothly and you were always available to answer any questions we had. The accommodation is very idyllic and quiet with a great view into the distance. There were even delicious fresh vegetables from their own garden for us.

"Beautiful setting with views, hills, vineyards and olive trees.
Lovely secluded cottage, which has been split in two and whose owners live in the other part. However, their entrance, garden and terrace are on the other side of the house, so you never have the feeling that you are being watched: privacy is fantastic here (and pleasantly respected by Alan and Lucia). The private pool with a view of the surroundings is so wonderful that you hardly do anything but lie in/by the pool!"

You know about the pool, the nature, the silence and the peace here, so we just will thank you for your kindness, generosity, your hospitality and most of all the open-hearted way you treated us! We didn't only feel like guests but at home.

Tutto è esattamente come descritto, non ci sono false verità (come purtroppo spesso capita). La WiFi funziona, la piscina è privata, il silenzio è assoluto. Il tutto immerso nella splendida natura Umbra. Alan e Lucia sono persone meravigliose con cui è piacevole chiaccherare. Lady Tess, la simpaticissima cagnolina, é adorabile. Non finiremo mai di ringraziare Alain e Lucia per aver condiviso il loro paradiso con noi."

"La casa di Alan e Lucia è un posto magico in cui staccare dalla vita frenetica della città. A pochi km da Gualdo Tadino, è un luogo ideale per ritagliarsi dei giorni di totale relax, ma è anche comodo se si vogliono visitare i borghi più belli e famosi dell’Umbria. Noi abbiamo fatto un mix delle due cose. La casa è “into the wild” ma ha tutte le comodità: dopo un breve sterrato, si può parcheggiare sotto casa, raccogliere qualche prugna, prepararsi qualcosa nella cucina accessoriata e poi andare a fare un bagno nella bellissima piscina rotonda privata con vista sulla valle, fantastica per dei bagni rinfrescanti. Si può concludere la giornata facendo una cena all’aperto (o grigliata, per chi è bravo con la brace :)) e poi fermarsi sulle sdraio a guardare le stelle (noi abbiamo avvistato anche delle lucciole!), nella totale quiete della campagna. Condiscono di gioia il soggiorno la gentile ospitalità di Alan e Lucia, che condividono sempre le prelibatezze dell’orto, e la cagnolina Tess, dolcissima."

Who came last year and had to unexpectedly leave after only 2 nights but who enjoyed a nice long stay this year.

This place is absolutely wonderful, everything was simply perfect!! The views, the house, the pool, the hammocks, the nature, the silence and much more!! But most of all Lucia, Isabella, and Alan were amazing. We departed feeling we got new friends here.

We are already hoping to come back sometime soon.
