La Grotta is cool and beautiful. Perfect for a couple or a family with up to 2 children.  Completely self-contained, inside and out, with its own private plunge pool down in the old olive grove. It is our second and final apartment in the old farmhouse at WildUmbria.

The ground floor, the old cow stable, is semi-underground behind stone walls 1.5m thick so is beautifully cool in the Summer..

Upstairs is the en-suite bedroom with a king size mattress and fabulous views of the valley. Thee is no proper 2nd bedroom, but instead behind a curtain in a cool dark corner of the ground floor, and accessed by a short ladder is a sleeping platform with a double mattress - a fun little hidey-hole for children.There is a fully equipped galley kitchen and good Wi-Fi access. A bathroom with spacious walk-in shower completes the ground floor.

 Outside, sheltered under the ivy covered old walls and the pergola overrun with wisteria, is a coffee table and chairs. A few steps further away beneath the fig trees is your outside dining area above the private garden. Below this, in the old olive grove, is your completely private sun-bathing deck and plunge pool, a clothing optional space.
